CONSEQUENCES
1st Offense:
You will receive a warning and your teacher will conference with you.
2nd Offense:
You will lose your recess or receive a time-out in another room.
3rd Offense:
Your teacher will contact your parents via email, phone call, or a note in the agenda. At this point you may not be allowed to participate in the reward activity.
4th Offense:
You will be referred to the office.

You will not be allowed to participate in the reward activity if:
Homework Policy
1. Write your homework assignments in your agenda every day. Get a teacher signature before leaving the class.
2. Bring your homework to class every day.
3. If you are absent, you are responsible for getting the classwork as well as the homework assignment from the “extra” bin the next day. You will have one day to make up the homework assignment unless Ms. Merlino has granted an extension.
4. If you miss one homework assignment, Ms. Merlino will stamp your agenda and you will need to get it signed by your parent or guardian. If you miss 3 homework assignments, you will not be allowed to participate in the upcoming reward activity. However, you will be given the opportunity to attend the next reward activity if you do not miss 3 additional homework assignments.
5. You are responsible for completing all the work neatly and giving 100% effort. If you get “stuck” on a problem you are responsible for asking the teacher for help the next day.
Your homework average will count as 10% of your final math grade for each term.

All students are expected to show respect towards one another, materials, and all school staff.

All students are expected to make good choices at all times, even when no-one is looking.

All students are expected to be prepared to LEARN. Homework & classwork needs to be completed neatly. Students must ask for help when needed. Students must study every night, especially for quizzes and unit tests.
- E mpathy
All students are expected to use cooperation and teamwork to achieve their goals in and outside the classroom.
